Original Vintage: 
Black Fabric Decorated Slumberwear Case
Dating from 1920s 
 
The large case has been made from soft black cotton, sightly padded and lined in a coral cotton sateen. The decorated over flap has been expertly embroidered with bright coloured threads that are still vibrant colours of red, pink, yellow and green. The corded edge is quiet worn it would have been bright coral to match the lining when made. There is also some wear on the front of the case and by the point. It is still a beautiful piece however the price reflects the wear.
