Original Vintage: 1960s Burgundy Red Vinyl Leatherette Covered Wooden Writing Case

The case opens to reveal, a contrast lining of ivory moiré fabric, in the lid is a deep gusseted pocket trimmed in red to store stationery items, with a gold stamped perpetual calendar and day slider, with a central pocket with a little address book (unused) and two little pockets for stamps. The original key is in a little envelope.
The blotter pad sits on top of the case with two fresh blotter sheets retained by red corner pieces, with a red pull to reveal a deep store area for other treasures. 
 
The case has a lockable brass spring catch key included, and a narrow handle attached with brass 'D' rings.

Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: corners show some wear, age patina to the brass lock, a lovely vintage piece, the inside is almost as new. Would make a perfect sustanable vintage gift.
