Fabric: Satin brocade pale pink back ground with a rose pink floral embroidered design with a sheen to the brocade a quality fabric mid weight.
 
Style: A special occasion dress in mint condition, probably made for a bridal event and may have been worn for a few hours only or not at all as there is no sign of wear.
 
Features: This beautiful dress has been made expertly with stunning quality fabric, the seams and hem are wide and therefore it could be let out. The finish to this the dress is to a very high standard. Each buttonhole has been self-bound, the seams have all been turned and stitched. The buttons have been covered in a bright red silk and also have a backing tape. The waist seam has been piped in the same bright red silk as the buttons.. Theren is a  flatering boat neckline, the sleeves are made from the bodice panels and have a ballet gusset under the arm. The bodice has waist darts front and back and the front skirt panels have been pleated onto the bodice. At the back the two skirt panels are cleverly cut with a flat yoke from the waist which has gathered panels which fall into fullness below the knee. 
 
Closure: Button down front with hooks and eyes and studs.
