Original Vintage: Emerald Green Velvet Cloak
I think this cloak has been handmade either for a 1950s evening cloak to go over an evening dress or as a costume.

Side seam to side seam across bust around the arms 49” (124 cm)
 
Length back neck to hem: 42” (107 cm)

Fabric: Thick cotton velvet medium weight 
Style: Traditional Ladies Evening Cloak 

Features: The cloak is sumptuously self-backed or lined in the same green velvet fabric as the outer layer and so when open or when moving the green is seen. There are ruched pin tucks on both inner and outer sides giving the shape to the cloak. At the neckline there is a delightfully soft grey faux fur Peter Pan collar
Closure: Velvet rouleau loop and a mottled green Bakelite button. 
 
Ideal to wear for: Special Events / Worn casually over Jumper, leggings and boots
