Original Vintage: 1950s Hinged personal vanity case in cream vinyl leatherette, with cerise pink fabric lining by Helena Rubenstein. Due to size could also be used as a handbag.
 
Lined in a cerise pink taffeta lining fabric, the base has a transparent plastic surface protector. There are five elasticated pocket for your toiletries or other items. There is a mirror secured in the lid with two elasticated pockets. 
 
The vanity case has brass metalwork, with hinge, feet, strap plates and lock (the original key is not with the case) the case is simply opened by pushing down on the square button and closed by pressing on the hinged plate into the catch.
