Made of: Gold tone metal that has been decorated etched with light white patterns in a Japanese garden design featuring birds and blossom. The handle is made of gold mesh with a gold metal looped design thumb rest. 
 
Features: A stunning little bag upon opening you see that the bag has been lined with a cream satin that has pockets in and also contains the original compacts, one has a mirrored lid and powder and the original mesh and puff, the other one is empty both compacts have brass hinged lids and the front panels are decorated like the outside of the bag, the backs and sides are black There are fabric slots to hold the compact in place. Other contents a white pencil and lid, also not original - tweezers in a little holder, and a lipstick.

Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: This item has been loved and is well used and the metal does have an age related patina to it, the lining also show signs of its age and use. A very unusual collector piece.
