Original Vintage: Elizabeth II Coronation Souvenir Tin
A lovely vintage octagon shaped tin with a hinged lid which sits well on the bace. In celebration of the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
Elizabeth II is Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth became queen when her father King George V1 died in 1952, who himself became King following in 1937 following the abdication of his brother King Edward V111 making Elizabeth the heir presumptive. She has since become the longest serving British Monarch.

The tin has a portrait of Queen Elizabeth and H.R.H Duke of Edinburgh on the lid, on the front and back panels there are images of Buckingham Palace, London, and Windsor Castle. On each end panel there is the Queens Crown, with the wording Coronation Souvenir of the Coronation of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II June 2nd 1953.
