Original Vintage: 
Black Fabric Decorated Slumberwear Case
Dating from 1930s – 1940s 
 
The case has been made from black matt taffeta fabric, sightly padded and lined in a silver-grey shimmering lining fabric. It has a two-inch gusset for the contents, the decorated over flap is reinforced and has a tiny gold edge along the curved edge. The delicate decoration of a crinoline lady and floral swag in pinks, lavender and green has been hand applied, together with the gold lettering of the word Slumberwear.

Closed length: 14” x 10” (35 cm x 26 cm) with 2 inch ( 5 cm) gusset
 
Made of: Matt Taffeta and lining
 
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: Slight wear to corners some balding to bottom edge corners, age marks inside.
