Made of: Cotton turquoise blue and white polka dot print.
 
Style: A classic late 1950s swimsuit with halter neckline. Without stretchy fabrics available sheering elastic was used across and up and down the fabric to create a stretch, and this costume has three ruched panels running up the front to the bust line which has a pointed design at the top which has a tiny white edge. The halter neck straps come from the sides of the bust. The crotch or the front part of the nicker is sewn behind the main tummy panel, which goes across the front in a flattering modesty line so fashionable in 1950s costumes. 
 
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: The elastic is quiet loose across the back however this may help with the fit it really depends on the size of the wearer. There is some tiny hand stitching across the bust panels this may have been to take in.
