Fabric: Polyester Crepe
Style: Edwardian style skirt blouse and jacket with the seventies
twist
Features:
The brown crepe edge to edge jacket is fastened by rouleau loops and
cover buttons. The three inch slightly flared peplum finishes at the
same length of the sleeves which echo the peplum in the slightly
flared bell shape. The jacket is trimmed with a cream 1 ½ “ (4cm)
cotton striking lace.
The brown crepe skirt which I believe has been professionally let
out 2" (5 cm) is a classic 'A' line maxi skirt with two darts at the front and falls to the hem with three different widths of cream cotton
there is covered belt and buckle which sits on the waist band with
belt loops
The beige crepe blouse has pin three tucks on each side of the
front, and narrow cream lace trim down the centre placket which
has little covered buttons the collar also has a lace edge trim. The
full shaped sleeves also have three pin tucks that come from the
shoulder seam are gathered into a cuff which is top stitched
trimmed with the lace and fastened with a cover button.
Ideal to wear for: a very wearable outfit in the 70s it would have been worn with brown suede boots and a floppy felt hat!

Vintage items are not new they date back to a particular era, some
have survived in amazing condition, while others may show some
signs of age but we feel they still deserve to make it into our
collection.
