Fabric: Soft ivory cream tulle with a cream lining fabric in the bodice
Style: A bridal gown that could have been made for a ballerina as the tulle used reminds me of the fabric that a vintage tutu would have been made.
Features: The skirts are made up of four layers of tightly gathered tulle, the bodice is fitted made of four shaped panels at the back and two at the front, the waistline is rushed at the side seams on the front panel and slightly dropped to emphasize the waistline it drops to a point at the back and front. The sleeves are sheer tulle with 12 rosebud style cover buttons and rouleau loops and finished in a point to echo the bodice. A layer of tulle is draped around the back and shoulders and gathered at the centre front with an original art deco diamanté brooch to make a very flattering shawl style collar.
Closure: There is a metal zip to the side
Ideal to wear for: Bridal, Events

Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: The dress does have some age marks and is not clean cream, it has not been washed as the tulle may go limp and may need redressing however it is a beautiful gown and would be perfect for the bride that is looking for a real vintage piece that tells its own story.
Vintage items are not new they date back to a particular era, some have survived in amazing condition, while others may show some signs of age, but we feel they still deserve to make it into our collection. Therefore, we have listed our items into three Conditions:
1940s Tulle Wedding Gown
none we recomend a hand wash at 30 degrees, after removing all the metal covered buttons to avoid the rust staining the lace. The marks may not come off completly.
