Made of: Navy glossed leather, lining in tan suede with three inside pockets on one side and a metal zipped pocket and mirror pocket complete with mirror on the other. Brass frame.
Style: Frame Handbag large enough for a packed lunch or a bottle or gin!
Features: leather flap on front to assist the opening there is also what’s left of a metal monogram of the letter ‘M’ this bag belonged to a Lady called Mabel I had many of her beautiful clothes and handbags she was a beautiful lady who lived into her 90s and I was lucky enough to be asked to visit her beautiful cottage in Worcestershire and bought many of her clothes and handbags.
Closure: Brass clip at centre
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: Signs of wear and age to all sides and corners, and the inside which give this bag its beautiful character and style. This must have been a favourite bag as it does show signs or age but is extremely sturdy and will survive for another eighty years !
