Dating from: 1940s
Label no label hand made the lady who owned this his from had many clothes hand made to a high standard I believe she was petite in height at it is appears a bit short for a 1940s suit, there is however a hem of 2"(5 cm) if it required lengthening.

Fabric: Wool mix soft mid weight textured fabric with cream, pale blues and browns. Jacket is lined in acetate lining fabric the dress is faced in the same lining fabric around the neck and arm holes.
Style: Classic 1940's style jacket with its featured little padded shoulders 
Features: brown Bakelite buttons on the jacket front and sleeves, the dress has a notched neckline, and two hip pockets with a kick pleat at the centre back hem
Closure: small metal zip opening to the side
