Original Vintage: 
Embroidered Satin Case
Dating from early 19th Century 1920s 
 
The case has been made from double layers of soft black satin that has the most delightful hand embroidered decoration in shades of pinks, corals, blue, green and golden yellows. On all sides including the opening flap. There is a black press stud stitched to a little strip of satin and the centre front to keep the contents safely inside. It may have been used to keep delicate items in such as silk stockings or silk scarves in when travelling.

Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: one small mark wear mark inside flap.
