Dating from: 1980s with a nostalgic styling of a 1950s tea dress

Hips are free width of fabric at hem: 
 
length from back neck to waist 14 1/2” (37 cm)

Length of collar at centre back: 7 1/2” (19cm)

Fabric: 100% Cotton quality print medium weight, with a vibrant pattern the background is white with pink, blue and yellow hibiscus type flowers with green foliage with highlights of reds, orange and purple. 
 
Style: The bodice has shaped panels six at the front and three at the back. The waist is dropped and pointed at the back and front. Ties are inserted into the front side panels which tie in a bow at the back. The skirts are full and voluminous and are gathered onto the bodice. 
 
Features: The bodice is buttoned down the centre front with 6 small buttons. There are cap sleeves on the bodice however these are covered with a very flattering top stitched pleated shawl collar which ends in long ties that can be tied in a bow or tucked under the collar or simply tied. 
 
Closure: buttons down the centre front
 
Ideal to wear for: Really pretty wearable dress to wear casually or to dress up

Flawed Vintage Condition: Means the item is wearable but does have some repair, mark or damage. The flaws will be described.
