Closure: nylon zip down the centre back 
Style: A square neck maxi dress, with gathered elbow length sleeves with satin hem panel, frill neckline and ribbon trim. 
 
Features: A beautiful, rare vintage find this black velvet maxi dress is a classic late 1970s square neck lines to the front and back edged in a 2 ½” frill and satin ribbon. The elbow length sleeve also has a velvet ribbon trim. The dress falls from under the bust line down to the floor with a 6-inch-wide panel and two further ribbon trims around the hem.
 
The dress is also pictured with a full-length 1970s black velvet cloak ref. no. WCCB014 that is not included with the dress but is also listed on this website. The original owner paired the two pieces together.
