Original Vintage: So, when listing this this dress it took me right back to a beautiful store in London back in the 1970’s, as I walked in I was faced with rows of the most beautiful floral print floor length maxi dresses. The floors were stripped oak boards the shop smelt of roses and there were baskets of flowers and pretty white cotton blouses petticoats and aprons I was in heaven it was the one of the first Laura Ashley shops in Sloane Square London it was beautiful. Well, this dress is from this era and indeed this very shop.

Fabric: Quality heavy white cotton
Style: Fresh white Edwardian Prairie style midi length
Features: Two panels of 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) wide white cotton lace run up from the waistline at an angle each side of the front bodice and inserted into the waistline. The bell-shaped sleeves are also edged in the lace. The bodice is made up of a central panel of horizontal pion tucks in a triangular shape giving a square neckline to the front and also at the back. The skirts are closely gathered into the bodice just under the lace panel. The lower hem has four-inch-deep pin tucks giving a weight and design to the dress.
Closure: Nylon zip at the centre back.
Ideal to wear for: Really wearable dress very fresh and pretty would make a very simple wedding dress.
