Original Vintage: So when listing this this dress it took me right back to a beautiful store in London back in the 1970’s, as I walked in I was faced with rows of the most beautiful floral print floor length maxi dresses. The floors were stripped oak boards the shop smelt of roses and there were baskets of flowers and pretty white cotton blouses petticoats and aprons I was in heaven it was the one of the first Laura Ashley shops in Sloane Square London it was beautiful. Well, this dress is from this era.

Waist 31” to be pulled in with sash (78.5 cm)
Hips are free
Length  Back neck to waist 14 ½ " (36.5 cm)

waist to front hem 42 ½ " (107.5 cm0
Frill at hem is 8 inches (20 cm) deep, on top of the dress hem therefore the length could be extended by removing the frill and lowering it.

Fabric: Quality printed cotton white background with a an abundance of purple flower bouquets 
Style: Edwardian Prairie style 
Features: Pin tuck detail to the bodice there is softly gathered white cotton lace trim to the neck and the cuffs. The skirts are gathered on the waistline which falls to the ground with a deep graduated softly gathered frill which falls into a little train at the back. The hem frill could be adjusted up or down to give more or less length to the dress. It also has the original separate sash which can be tied around the waist and in a bow at the back as well as a drawstring bag in the same fabric 
Closure: Nylon zip with hook at top
