Side seam to side seam across bust: 36” (91.5cm)
Length back neck to hem: 21 ½” (54.5cm) There is a gold chain that has been sewn into the inside hem of the jacket probably to give weight. (this can be easily unpicked)
Sleeve length: 18" (46cm) Shoulder 5” (13cm) There is a opening on the cuff which has been sewn up.
Blouse

Skirt 
Side seam to side seam across waist 28” (71cm)

Fabric: 
Jacket: Mohair wool with wool braid trim, lined with and edged with Silk 
Skirt: Mohair Wool with pink acetate lining
Blouse: Pink Slub dupion silk
 
Style: Chanel style edge to edge mohair wool suit, open weave of pink and cream mohair wool trimmed with plaited wool trim pale pink slub silk piping.
The pink blouse has rows of pink tucks either side of a faced placket and fastened with self-covered buttons and a metal hook and eye at the top. The collar has tails that can be tied into a pussy bow. The blouse is a lighter a pink to the suit perhaps this is because the blouse has been laundered, over time and has faded to a lighter pink. 
 
Features: The fabric is soft with beautiful fluffy threads so typical of mohair softening all the lines.
 
Closure: small metal zip opening to one of the seams on the right panel of the skirt 
 
Ideal to wear for: Vintage events, Bridal Special Events, Formal Work.
 
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: although there are some signs of wear and some discolouring of the lining, the blouse is a lighter pink than the suit. 
 
Vintage items are not new they date back to a particular era, some have survived in amazing condition, while others may show some signs of age but we feel they still deserve to make it into our collection.
