Fabric. Bri Nylon, lace and satin ribbon ( Bri Nylon was a name made up by British Manufactures in the 1950s for 'British' Nylon)
 
Style: Elasticated Tiered petticoat with a gentle fullness, one layer of bri-nylon forms the waist and hip panel to which two layers of frills the under layer is bri-nylon backed onto net with a trimmed edge. The top layer is made up of two tiers of gathered bri-nylon the top tier has a row or ribbon insertion lace with I“(2.5cm) wide pink satin ribbon running through, while the lower layer has gathered row of white narrow lace attached.
 
Ideal to wear under original vintage and vintage style 1950s dresses to get the fuller look
