Fabric: Woven wool cotton mix red background with fine black lines making a plaid pattern.
 
Style: Cute day dress fit and flare
 
Features: Classic bodice with waist darts to the front and back, the high neckline has a 1 ¼ “(3cm) panel that runs around the neck and down the centre front with a bow loop at each side at the neckline. The skirt two widths of the fabric are sewn into the waistline with full gathers which give a flare skirt with a hem that falls below the knee. There is enough fabric in the dress width to wear a petticoat if a fit and flare look is desired which we sell separately. 
 
Closure: 9” (23cm) metal zip at the side and 5 original black Bakelite buttons and buttonholes down the centre back from neck to waist.

Vintage items are not new they date back to a particular era, some have survived in amazing condition, while others may show some
