Original Vintage: Black Patent Leather Frame Handbag with Scalloped Edge

Riviera was founded by ‘Solly’ Reichenberg, who came to England during the second World War. He once owned a company in France so that is the history behind the name of his new company. Riviera Bags were one of the top three British Manufacturers of Handbags. The quality just shines through on all their pieces.

Made of: Black quality leather patent outer with brass feet, lined in tan suede with one vanity pocket on one side and a metal zipped pocket on the other.
Style: Classic Rivera handbag the two panels have a scalloped edge to the top with the wrist straps emerging from 2” (5 cm) below.
Features: The metal frame is covered in black leather at the top and the gold tone metal at the sides. The front and back flat panels are patent leather the two sides are black leather side.
Closure: Brass clip at centre
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: There are some scratches to the patent if examined, and signs of use to the lining but it is still a beautiful and stylish robust handbag
