Fabric: Ivory white manmade Nottingham lace with a soft crispness to it, overlaid on a soft white net tulle dress is lined with a cream acetate lining. Decorated with cream cotton lace appliqué circular flowers, with pearl bead decoration.
Style: Classic 1950s design Wedding Gown when the gowns were quite modest (sleeves and necks line not revealing too much)
Features: The skirts are made up of yards of lace and net, made up of three layers with the top layer of Nottingham Lace, one layer of net and one on acetate lining. The bodice is fitted with bust darts and waist darts at the back and front, the waistline drops to a point at the back and front. The sleeves are sheer lace and tulle with finished in a point to echo the bodice. The neckline high at the back which falls into a scalloped ‘V’ neckline with round cream pearl bead buttons and rouleau loops they are just for decoration.
Closure: There is a metal zip to the back, sleeves have two little metal press studs at the wrist.

Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: The dress does have some age marks and is missing one pearl tear drop bead. The vilene under skirt was torn and so has been removed this can be easily replaced.
