Fabric: quality mid weight crepe with acetate lining
Style: A quality cut and designed dressed, the fabric has been backed onto a plum-coloured acetate lining fabric, the sleeve is cut from the bodice with a ballet gusset inserted under the arm, a style that was very much of the era. The bodice is overlaid to appear as a top and the skirt is attached to the lining fabric under neath the bodice. The skirt section has waist darts for shaping and is attached to the under bodice with a row of piping and has a half faux bow stitched on to the left of the waistline.
Features: The feature of the dress has to be the beautiful tiny plum faceted beads and darker purple diamante which starts at the top spaced out and finishes more clustered together on the top bodice.
Closure: metal zip to the back with two metal hooks and hand sewn eyes.
Ideal to wear for: special events, parties, wedding’s, a beautifully understated and embellished dress.
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: The original zip has been replaced with a metal zip as it is a bit to long for the dress and sits inside this could be cut off, there is a tiny bit of wear on one of the under arm seams
