Fabric: Soft ivory cream all over flower lace
Style: The gown is a design that was very popular in the 1950s with a nipped in waistline and a rushed bust line. On close inspection of the gown, I can tell you that it was once full length with sleeves. It was a tradition for some back in the day to change or recycle one’s own
wedding gown into a shorter dress to be worn at a special dinner dance.
Features: The gown has two layers of under skits, a heavy cream taffeta and a very soft fine tule net. The skirts top layer of lace is constructed with six shaped panels giving a flat waist and fullness at the hem. The bodice is backed onto a layer of the cream taffeta.
Closure: There is a metal zip to the side

none we recomend a hand wash at 30 degrees, after removing all the metal covered buttons to avoid the rust staining the lace. The marks may not come off completly.
