Original Vintage: Delightful black velvet wired cocktail hat or skull cap. These headpieces were originally designed to sit onto of a hair up do of curls and were often worn evening gowns bridal and wool and felt styles worn with coats and suits.

wired edge that you can shape to fit over your hair do/head shape
Made of millinery net covered in a luxurious black velvet, with three triangles of velvet with narrow tails springing from them these are backed in wool felt. There is a black dot net veiling that covers the hat, and this can be worn over the face or under the hat. The veiling also has three narrow black velvet ribbon bows across the centre from back to front.
