Fabric: is a sky-blue cotton linen in an all over Embroidery Anglaise, the centres of the petals are open. The video shows the dress a bit lighter than it is please see the photos for truer colour
 
Style: A classic clever 1940s waisted dress summer dress with a fitted sleeve and collar.
 
Features: The bodice is darted at bust and waist back and front. The skirt has a deep kick pleat at the centre back hem and two on the front. There is also a pale blue covered belt 
 
Closure: 8" (20 cm) metal zip at the side the side zips in the forties were short due to lack of metal for zips.
 
Ideal to wear for:  events this dress can be dressed up or worn more casually. In the forties wrist length lace gloves and a straw hat could have been worn with this summer dress
