Fabric: Quality Medium Black Wool
Style: A classic cleverly cut 1940s dress the sleeve is cut in with the bodice with two panels going over the shoulder and down to the waist, which have been decorated in a squiggle corded design. The skirts are knife pleated into the bodice.
Features: There is a self-covered belt with covered buckle, there is also a gold filagree buckle that has been added over the years. So the wearer has the choice of wearing in with the original buckle at the front or at the back with the gold buckle at the front for more dressy occasions.
Closure: Metal zip down the centre back.
Ideal to wear for: events this dress can be dressed up or worn more casually. In the forty’s wrist length gloves with a hat could have been worn with this dress. It is a cosy winter dress that would look amazing paired with a princess line coat.
