Fabric: is a man-made fabric that was quite popular for spring and summer dresses in the 40s and 50s its delicate sheerness made it light to wear. The print is a pale hint of green background with a soft white large daisies with red centres, along with green and yellow foliage.
Style: A classic clever 1940's dress pattern with a centre panel and soft fullness.
Features: A sleeveless square neckline with double row of top stitching, with a collar and lapels sitting on the shoulder line. The dress has a flattering centre panel from the hem to the neckline, and the side panels of the skirt are softly gathered over the hips from a slightly dropped waistline. It is sheer so a dress length under slip would need to be worn underneath it. There is room for a petticoat if you want to have a more flare line.
Closure: 7" (18 cm) metal zip at the back and at the side
Ideal to wear for: parties or events this dress can be dresses up or worn more casually
