Measurements: Bust 34” Waist 30” Hips 36" 
NB The meassurments of a 1940's dress are a bit misleading as the dress needs to be put on over the head and shoulders with often small openings at the side back or front. Rember the the full length zip was not yet in use.
 
Length  from waist to hem 24"
 
A Rock Follies Vintage Size:   The measurments would make this dress a 10 however getting into the dress means it would fit a size 8 - 10  the manequine the dress is styled on is a size 8

Fabric: Is medium weigh crepe in an Eau-de-Nil green sprinkled with ivory and raspberry pinl flower heads.
 
Style: A classic 1940's dress pattern the start of the shirt dress.
 
Features: The top is typical of the 40's one piece with darts with a spear pointed collar with a placket running to the waist seam with glass buttons and hand made bound button holes. There are also rows of hand sheering across the shoulders 
 
Closure:  small metal zip opeing to the side and buttons to the front.
 
Ideal to wear for: parties or events this dress can be dresses up or worn more casually
