1930s Style Silk Devoré Georgette Bias Cut Dress with Jacket

Measurements: The dress is cut on the bias width of the fabric 
Which means the dress gives across the width and means that it can be put on over the head without an opening, the wider the wearer is the shorter the dress would be. I have styled the dress on our size 12 mannequin, because it is a bias-cut dress it is hard to give the measurement’s.

Fabric: 53 % Silk 47% Viscose lining is 100% acetate in fuchsia pink devoré georgette with satin flowers picked out in red and pale pink satin with tiny clear beads and sequins hand sewn onto the flowers throughout the dress and jacket
 
Style: Bias cut dress backed onto a red lining fabric
 
Features: The dress has a ‘V’ neckline, little cap sleeves and a frill around the hem, there are cotton loopholes for a belt, original belt is no longer with the dress, a piece of ribbon could be used or they could be cut off.
 
Closure: no closure over the head

The jacket slightly cut away design at the front hemline, has long set in sleeves, there is a narrow pink georgette frill decorated with hundreds of tiny seed beads that edges the sleeves, neckline, and hem. The jacket can be tied together at the centre front with a delicate georgette rouleau weighted with little beads.
