Fabric: Pure silk cotton lace and embroidered lace and ribbon lining is acetate
 
Style: a drop waisted but fitted bodice with lace handkerchief skirts over silk.
 
Features: The bodice is fitted in three shaped panels with a V neckline with lace and insertion ribbon on top which continues round to the back neck. The central front panel has lace overlaying the silk and the skirts are three layers of lining silk and lace which are attached in a flat seam to the bodice at hip length. The lace falls into a very attractive handkerchief hem at the back and the front with cream satin ribbon loosely attached to cover the seam with a pearl and silk rose and decoration at the hip. The back is made of four panels which again give a fitted look and 22 small silk cover buttons with silk rouleau loops run from the neck to the hips with a further 6 under the lace.
 
Closure: 28 cover buttons and rouleau loops
