Original Vintage: This Hat made of Navy Petersham and Narrow Straw 
 
Dating from: This hat is from early 19th Century from 1900 – 1912
The hat is made from narrow navy petersham and narrow straw stitiched together to form a crown and a brim then stitched together with a inner petersham.

Measurements: 
Depth of Crown: can sit very flat or out stretched it measures 3 ½ ” ( 9 cm)
Depth of Up Brim: 3” (7.5 cm)
Inside round opening measures 21 ¼ " (54 cm) 
 
The hat would have been attached to a large Edwardian style hair with a long hat pin
